New Physician Mortgage Loan Program¹

  • This program is ideal for licensed interns, residents, or fellows (MD, DO, DPM, DDS, DMD, DVM, OD) in medical residency or scheduled to start working within 90 days of the purchase of a new home.
  • Also available for licensed interns, residents, or fellows who have started working for a hospital or physician’s group within the last 12 months.
  • Eligible customers may borrow up to $1 million with no down payment required.
  • Fixed and adjustable-rate mortgage (ARM)² loans available.
  • No private mortgage Insurance (PMI) required.
  • Refinancing options available.

Established Physician Mortgage Loan Program¹

  • Ideal for licensed non-residents, interns, or fellows (MD, DO, DPM, DMD, DVM, OD) who are out of residency for 12 months.
  • Also available for licensed non-residents, interns, or fellows (MD, DO, DPM, DDS, DMD) who have been self-employed as a medical doctor or dentist for at least two years.
  • Eligible customers may borrow up to $1 million with no down payment required or up to $2 million with a 10% down payment when purchasing a home.
  • Fixed and adjustable-rate mortgage (ARM)² loans are available.

SPECIAL TPA MEMBER OFFER:

TPA members receive a $250 lender credit (towards lender fees) on a physician mortgage loan.

The $250 credit can be used towards any closing costs. Fifth Third also offers an additional .25% off the loan amount lender credit if client opens a 5/3 account and has the mortgage payment deducted from that account. No minimum deposit is required for this option (discount is on top of the $250 credit).
